What is the most famous elevated garden?

The most famous elevated garden in history of man would have to be the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, though it is not known if they ever actually existed. Considered one of the wonders of the ancient worlds, these hanging gardens were first described around 290 BC by Berossus, a Babylonian priest. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the Hanging Gardens in Babylon is that out of all of the Wonders in the Ancient World, it is the only one that the location remains unknown. Some scholars even debate as to whether or not that Babylon was even the correct home to these gardens. Some scholars think that the gardens were actually located in an ancient city known as Nineveh. Whether it was fact or poetic fiction we will never know until we have the technology to excavate all of the possible sites that may hide the ruins of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

Do you have a raised flower bed?

Yes actually. For me raised flower beds seems to work out the best. It is much easier to take care of than a traditional flower bed directly on the ground. One thing that I have noticed during my time of using a raised flower bed vs. a flower bed directly on the ground is the amount of pests that bother my flowers. It seems that most insects and pests do not want to take the effort required to get the flowers if they are in a raised flower bed. Another great benefit of that I have found is the ability to easily keep from over watering my flowers.

For a long time, my flowers would always die. I could not figure out why for the life of me until I actually took the time to pull some of my flowers up by their roots. It was then that I realized that the roots and rotted completely from holding too much water. Once I started using a raised flower bed, I never had this problem again. To test the theory I even pulled up one of my flowers to inspect the roots because it was dying. Thankfully, it wasn’t to root rot, the actual reasons was just nature.
